Receiving Clients
As a provider, clients come to you through the matching system. This guide covers how to review and respond to client proposals.
How You Get Clients
- Student completes intake questionnaire
- Matching algorithm runs
- Your capabilities match their needs
- Proposal created and sent to you
- You decide to accept or decline
Reviewing a Proposal
When you receive a proposal, you'll see:
- Student Information - Name, background, current stage
- Service Details - Tutoring vs. advising, specific needs
- Hours Allocated - How many hours for this relationship
Responding to Proposals
Accepting
- Click "Accept" on the proposal
- Relationship moves to "Paired"
- Student notified with your contact info

Declining

Declining is okay—it's better for everyone if matches are good fits.
