Accessing the Platform
Getting started as a Matchpal administrator requires an invitation and role elevation from an existing admin.
Becoming an Admin
Matchpal is invite-only. Admin accounts are bootstrapped from Provider accounts:
- Get Invited as a Provider - An existing admin creates a Provider profile for you, triggering an invite email
- Complete Provider Setup - Follow the magic link and create your full provider profile including password creation
- Request Role Elevation - Contact an existing admin to request Admin privileges
- Admin Grants Access - The existing admin elevates your role
- Refresh Dashboard - Your dashboard will reflect your new Admin capabilities
Magic links expire for security. Request a new one if yours has lapsed.
Logging In (Returning Users)
Once your account exists:
- Navigate to the Matchpal Dashboard
- Enter your registered email address and password
- You'll land on your dashboard
The Admin Interface
Navigation Sidebar
The left sidebar provides access to all administrative sections:
- Dashboard - Activity overview and pending actions
- Students - Manage profiles, and statuses
- Providers - Manage profiles, capabilities, and availability
- Email - Templates, logs, and send communications
- Settings - Platform configuration
Top Bar
The top bar includes:
- Your account menu for profile settings and logout
- Theme toggle for switching between light and dark mode
