Provider Onboarding
Getting started as a Matchpal provider involves setting up your profile, configuring your capabilities, and making yourself available for matching.
The Onboarding Process
- Account Creation - Admin creates your account
- Profile Completion - You provide your information
- Capabilities Setup - You specify what you offer
- Availability Configuration - You set your capacity
Profile Completion
Your profile showcases who you are:
- Basic Info - Name, email, phone, timezone
- Professional Background - Education, credentials, experience, bio
- Location - Region for matching preferences
Capabilities Setup
Capabilities define what you can offer:
Tutoring Capabilities
Select exam codes you can tutor:
- MCAT, USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, COMLEX, etc.
Advising Capabilities
Select specialty codes you can advise on:
- Medical school applications, residency matching, career planning, etc.
Availability Configuration
Control your workload:
- Maximum Clients - Total students you can handle
- Status - Available, Limited, Full, or Unavailable
After Onboarding
Once set up:
- Wait for proposals from the matching system
- Respond promptly to accept or decline
- Begin working with accepted clients
